Spicy Basil with Chicken I Recipe


Fast, easy and extremely tasty.  It’s the perfect combination.


Ingredients:

3 Tbsp. Canola Oil

2 Tbsp. Garlic, finely chopped

1 1/2 tsp. Thai or Serrano Chile, finely chopped

1 lb. Boneless Chicken Breast, finely chopped

3 Tbsp. Fish Sauce

1 tsp. Soy Sauce

1/2 tsp. Sugar

2 Red Thai Chilies, thinly sliced into ovals

1 Cup Thai Sweet Basil Leaves, firmly packed


Directions:

In a wok on high heat, add the oil until hot and stir-fry the garlic for 15 seconds then add the chile and stir-fry for another 15 seconds.  Add the chicken and cook for a minute.


Then add the soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar for another 2 minutes.  Remove from the heat, and add the sliced chilies and basil until the basil wilts.  Transfer to a platter and serve.
